Business & Residential Air Freight
When your commercial or residential import from China cannot wait for ocean transit timelines, air freight delivers the speed you need — but standard air consolidations roll cargo during peak season, and residential delivery surcharges inflate the final bill beyond any resemblance to the quote you received. Yunxi International Logistics provides commercial and residential air freight from China to USA under an all-inclusive DDP service model. With Block Space Agreements at core hub airports, in-house customs brokerage, and a dedicated U.S. truck fleet that delivers directly to both business and residential addresses, Yunxi ensures your air shipment flies on confirmed capacity and reaches your doorstep without hidden surcharges or third-party delivery gaps.

Move the priority stock with a complete delivery plan
An urgent order needs more than an airport arrival estimate. Our door-to-door air freight from China to the UK connects accepted commercial cargo with the collection, import handling and final delivery agreed for your receiving address.
Tell Yunxi Freight what you need first, when the supplier can release it and where it must be received. We assess the available service and the complete scope, so you can decide whether the proposed air shipment fits the order’s priority and cost.
Best suited to: time-sensitive commercial replenishment, samples and selected priority batches. First information needed: product description, packed dimensions and weights, cargo-ready date, required delivery date and UK postcode.
Get My Air Freight QuoteSend the right batch, with the right information
Sending the entire purchase order by air may not be necessary. Start with the units that address the immediate stock or project requirement, then compare the complete arrangement for that batch.
| Your requirement | Information to provide | Decision we help you assess |
|---|---|---|
| Priority stock replenishment | Needed products, quantities, ready dates and receiving deadline | Which units belong in the urgent shipment |
| Commercial samples | Product, materials, value, package size and delivery purpose | Cargo acceptance and the applicable transport scope |
| One urgent part of a larger order | Separate packing details for priority and remaining goods | Whether a split transport plan is practical |
| Delivery to a shop or home-based business | Postcode, access, opening hours and unloading resources | Whether the address can receive the proposed shipment |
Our UK-route minimum is 21 kg, subject to cargo acceptance. Confirm the selected channel’s minimum charge and billing rules. Product acceptance, available capacity and the receiving arrangements must still be established before booking.
For the wider service and address requirements, see Business & Residential Shipping.
Check chargeable weight before comparing rates
An air freight estimate based only on gross weight can leave a bulky shipment poorly understood. Weight-based air charges generally use the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight under the selected service’s measurement rules. Ask us to confirm the applicable calculation and minimum charge for your quotation.
Send dimensions for each packed carton, crate or pallet, together with gross weights and unit quantities. Include the final pallet or crate in the measurements. If the supplier later changes the packaging, the earlier quotation may need revision.
For large, long or oversized units, request a separate handling assessment. Acceptance depends on more than weight: the packed shape, lifting points, stability, transport restrictions and final unloading method may affect the available arrangement. Do not release an unusually sized unit on the assumption that a standard per-kilogram rate covers it.
Plan the UK delivery alongside the air shipment
The same goods can require different arrangements at a warehouse, high-street shop or residential address. Our UK last mile freight delivery assessment uses the actual receiving conditions, rather than treating the postcode as the complete delivery instruction.
| Receiving condition | Confirm before dispatch | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Appointment-only warehouse | Booking contact, permitted slot and receiving documents | Airport arrival and site availability must be connected |
| Shop with restricted stopping | Loading area, road restrictions and receiving hours | The selected vehicle needs a workable handover point |
| Residential delivery | Road access, parking, slopes and unloading resources | Address acceptance and load handling need to match |
| Crated or palletised shipment | Packed dimensions, weight, equipment and responsible operator | A tail-lift request alone does not establish safe unloading |
Agree where the delivery ends and who unloads. Indoor placement, stairs, unpacking, assembly or installation require specific acceptance and pricing. Commercial stock for an eligible home-based business can be assessed; this page does not offer household removals.
PO boxes, military addresses and offshore islands are not accepted. Northern Ireland requests require a separate route and regulatory assessment. Tell us about restrictions at enquiry stage so they can be considered before the goods move.
Keep clearance and receiving readiness on the same plan
Before dispatch, establish who is responsible for the import and provide the relevant commercial documents. Our UK customs clearance for China imports support connects document preparation with the proposed shipment. Product descriptions, values, quantities and the importer information must be consistent with the goods and agreed arrangement.
DDP and DAP allocate different import obligations under the agreed sale terms. Confirm the named destination, responsible parties, duty and import VAT treatment, and what the transport quotation includes. A trade term alone does not establish indoor delivery or unloading services.
Yunxi’s three company-owned UK customs centres, five company-owned warehouses and more than 200 company-owned vehicles support document follow-up, handling coordination and onward dispatch. The accepted shipment determines the actual resources used. These resources do not remove customs checks or replace a confirmed receiving arrangement.
Ask for a quotation you can act on
Review the complete scope before comparing two air freight offers:
- Origin: collection or supplier handover, any agreed consolidation and export handling.
- Air transport: available service, acceptance conditions, chargeable-weight calculation and quotation validity.
- UK handling: clearance scope, destination handling, any warehouse work and final delivery.
- Responsibilities: importer arrangements, duty and import VAT treatment, unloading and the handover point.
- Possible changes: storage, waiting, remeasurement, extra handling or revised delivery requirements.
Tell us the required delivery date and whether it is fixed or preferred. Flight arrival is one milestone. Cargo availability, clearance, any agreed handling and the receiving window affect the door-to-door plan. We review the available arrangement against the actual booking and identify conditions that remain unresolved.
If a portion of the order can follow later, compare it separately with door to door sea freight China to UK. A split plan should use separate packing information and complete quotations, so the priority decision is based on the work each shipment actually requires.
Planning scenario
Jennifer, a UK home-accessories retailer, needs a selected batch of non-electrical products for a planned promotion. The supplier expects the priority cartons to be ready before the remainder of the order. The delivery address is a shop with limited receiving hours and no loading bay.
Yunxi’s approach is to confirm the priority cartons and their final packed dimensions, assess cargo acceptance and the available air freight service, and review vehicle access and the shop’s receiving window. The quotation will set out the complete scope for the priority batch, while onward transport for the remaining goods will be assessed separately. Dispatch will be instructed once the cargo, import and receiving arrangements are established.
Why this approach helps: it gives Jennifer a clear basis for deciding whether the priority batch justifies air freight and identifies receiving constraints before committing to transport costs. It also avoids treating airport arrival as confirmation that the goods will reach the shop in time for the promotion.
From priority list to an agreed dispatch
- Identify the urgent units. List the products and quantities that need to travel first, with their final packed measurements.
- Confirm readiness and acceptance. Provide supplier details, cargo-ready dates and the documents needed to assess the actual service.
- Approve the complete arrangement. Check the quotation, import responsibilities, access, unloading and receiving requirements.
- Release against the agreed plan. Confirm any outstanding conditions before instructing dispatch; report changes in packing, dates or destination promptly.
Frequently asked questions
Can you send only part of my order by air?
We can assess a priority batch separately. Identify the products, quantities, packing details and ready date for that batch, plus the plan for the balance. Separate transport may involve additional handling and documentation, which should be included in the comparison.
Will I be charged by actual weight or package size?
Weight-based air freight normally uses the greater of actual and volumetric weight under the selected service’s rules. The applicable calculation and minimum charge must be confirmed in the quotation. Final packaging and any remeasurement can affect the chargeable weight.
Can urgent air freight go to my home-based business?
It can be assessed for commercial cargo at an eligible address. Provide the full address, access details, receiving contact and unloading resources. Acceptance does not automatically include indoor placement, stairs or unpacking.
Can you promise delivery as soon as the flight lands?
No. Cargo must become available, complete the necessary import process and meet the agreed handling and receiving arrangements. Share the actual required delivery date before booking so the complete plan can be assessed against it.
What if the supplier changes the carton sizes after quoting?
Send the updated dimensions, quantities and weights before release. Packaging changes can affect chargeable weight, cargo acceptance and the final delivery method. The service and quotation may need to be revised.
What should I send for an urgent air freight quote?
Provide product descriptions, carton or pallet quantities, final packed dimensions and gross weights, value, supplier addresses, readiness dates and the required delivery date. Include the UK postcode, receiving hours, access limits, unloading resources and intended handover point. Mark any information that remains provisional.
Start with the batch you need first
